Analytics and measurement

We use two analytics services with different privacy models.

Plausible Analytics is always active and provides aggregate, cookieless statistics without storing information on your device or creating cross-site advertising profiles.

Our server also keeps hourly aggregate page-view counts by page, country, referrer domain and allowlisted UTM fields. It uses no cookies or client/session IDs, does not store IP addresses, raw User-Agents or full referrer URLs, and retains aggregates for up to 25 months.

Google Analytics 4 is optional. Its script is not loaded and its analytics cookies are not set until you consent through our banner.

We use these measurements to improve navigation, editorial coverage and technical performance.

We do not use Google Analytics for personalised advertising. Google acts as an analytics provider under its applicable data terms.

Legal basis

Necessary storage is used to provide requested settings and remember your privacy choice.

Optional Google Analytics processing is based on consent. Rejecting it does not limit access to the site, and consent can be withdrawn at any time.

Cookie and local-storage policy

The site uses necessary first-party storage and, only with consent, Google Analytics cookies.

• Necessary: the consent record, theme and local interface or country-filter preferences.
• Optional analytics: Google Analytics may use cookies such as _ga and _ga_* to distinguish visits and measure engagement.
• The consent choice is stored for 12 months unless you clear browser data or change the choice earlier. Google Analytics cookie lifetimes are controlled by the configured Google service and browser settings. Security and access logs are retained for no more than 30 days.
